Actor Alec Baldwin was seen looking tired during a FaceTime call with his wife Hilaria, before he accidentally fatally shot a crewmember on the set of his movie Rust.
The 63-year-old actor fired off a prop gun on set of the western in New Mexico on Thursday.
It hit cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, killing her at the age of 42, while the film’s director Joel Souza was also left injured.
In an Instagram story image shared by his wife three hours before the incident, the 30 Rock star had visible bags under his eyes and appeared drawn during the conversation.
The actor had his blue face mask tucked around his chin and appeared to be sitting in a car.
Hours later, authorities responded to an incident at Bonanza Creek at around 1:50pm following 911 calls indicating someone had been shot on set.
