‘Damn Good Feeling’: Stephen Curry Reacts to His Inclusion in the NBA 75 List
With this being the 75th season of the NBA, the league decided to honor their top players. They put out a list of the 75 greatest NBA players to celebrate this occasion. Unsurprisingly, one of players that made the list was Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. He started a revolution with his play style, and is also a great ambassador outside the arena. Recently, he reacted to this honor and also spoke about his idol, Reggie Miller, making the list.
Ever since his three point development, the NBA game took a turn. Curry became the driving force behind the three point era and for good reason. At the beginning of his career, Steph faced many injuries that would limit his growth. However, he never gave up and turned himself into a complete offensive machine. He currently sits at three championships and is all set to be the record all time three pointers leader.

Off the floor, Steph is always contributing to the community. Curry keeps giving back and contributing to problems that society faces. Hence, his inclusion was an absolute must. Like the rest, Curry too took immense honor in being included in the NBA 75 list.

Stephen Curry lost for words
Before the game against the LA Clippers, Curry spoke about his inclusion in the NBA 75 list. Likewise, he said that it was a special acknowledgement. However, he is nowhere close to done as he eyes for more goals ahead. Curry gave credit to his teammates and all that it took for him to get this far in his career.
Steph said: “It’s hard to put into words man. Obviously, still in the middle of my career, you have your eyes set on more accomplishments. But that’s a pretty special acknowledgement. You can look at all the names up there. I’m so appreciative of what it took to get here, everybody that I got to suit up with, everybody that poured into me throughout the years. So it is a pretty damn good feeling.”

He also spoke about his idol, Reggie Miller, being on the list. Curry said that he is a genuine guy. He spoke about how Miller worked year after year to draw out the most from his career. Finally, Steph said that it’s a great honor to see Reggie get the recognition because of what he has done for the league.
Growing up, Reggie was Steph’s favorite player. Notably, Curry surpassed Miller to go second on the all time three pointers list in January this year. They even shared a zoom call after it. Hence, their relationship has always been good and seeing Curry react this way is no surprise.
