Eva Longoria has revealed she is more than up for a return to Desperate Housewives, nine years after the series ended.

The actress, 46, starred as Gabrielle Solis in the hit series, and she is keen to reprise her role if the opportunity arises.

In an interview with Good Morning Britain, Eva revealed: ‘I would love it. Let me tell you, I miss her every day. She’s so great.

‘I miss being in her skin and I would do a reunion in a heartbeat. I love that show, I love Marc Cherry the creator, I love the ladies and so yeah, sign me up!’

Desperate Housewives ran for eight seasons between 2004 and 2012, with Eva tweeting at the time: ‘It’s confirmed! We are filming our last season of Desperate Housewives!

‘I am so grateful for what the show has given me! We always knew we wanted to end on top and I thank ABC for giving us our victory lap! And a special thanks to Marc Cherry who forever changed my life!’

The cast had a mini-reunion last year without Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman as they got together virtually to raise funds amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Desperate Housewives followed the lives of the housewives of Wisteria Lane and the trials and tribulations they faced behind their perfect white-picket-fenced lives.

Eva had previously claimed she was ‘bullied’ on the set of the show in a letter supporting co-star Felicity through the college admissions scandal

She wrote at the time: ‘There was a time I was being bullied at work by a co-worker. I dreaded the days I had to work with that person because it was pure torture. Until one day, Felicity told the bully, “enough” and it all stopped.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
