I’m an unpaid carer for my family and they never say thank you

I have been caring for my mother and older sisters, who all have physical and mental health problems, since I was eight.

I am a woman of 24 and do all the housework, shopping, cooking and washing.
I sort the bills, pick up their medication, put out the bins . . . the list feels endless. It’s a life of drudgery and it’s making me depressed.
Nobody ever thanks me for what I do. They just insult me and put me down.
I have no life of my own and nobody will help.
I have been to my GP and she has written to adult social services but they say there is nothing they can do.
