Andrade El Idolo hit out at WWE on Friday night minutes after SmackDown went off the air.
The All Elite Wrestling star – who lost to fellow WWE alumni PAC on AEW Rampage later that night – blasted the company following the Championship Exchange ceremony between Becky Lynch and his fiancée Charlotte Flair.
Although Andrade didn’t confirm the context of his tweet, it came minutes after the blue brand’s broadcast ended with the segment between Big Time Bex and The Queen.
He simply wrote: ‘Fu… WWE !!!!! (sic)’
His comments come after reports Flair and Lynch had a non-physical confrontation backstage following the segment, and PWInsider.com has claimed things didn’t go as planned on-air.
The idea of the respective SmackDown and Raw Women’s Champions simply swapping their belts after being switching brands in the draft was criticised by fans even before it was confirmed.
It’s been claimed that Flair voiced concerns about the segment ahead of time, suggesting it could make her and her title reign look weak by doing the swap.
The exchange was booked as planned in the main event slot, but the report alleges that Charlotte threw her belt to the mat instead of handing it over, while Lynch then threw her own belt at her on-screen rival instead of just passing it to Sonya Deville.
PWInsider then claimed the pair had a ‘heated’ conversation backstage about the way things went down.

Later in the night, Andrade – who hasn’t commented further on social media, but his original tweet remains on the site – was busy having an incredible match with PAC in the AEW Rampage main event.
He didn’t get the job done as his rival rolled him up for the win, but there was plenty of excitement still to come as the lights cut out in the arena and came back on to reveal Malakai Black in the ring.
He blasted PAC with the mist, aligning himself with Andrade before Cody Rhodes rushed down to make the save.
