Brooklyn Nets’ James Harden Edges Closer to Stephen Curry and the Elusive Top 3 of Three-Point Shooting

James Harden has another achievement to add to his long list of accomplishments after the game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He is now standing alone at 4th on the all-time list of three-pointers made by individual players. He surpassed his current developmental coach Kyle Korver to accomplish this feat and now has 2451 three-pointers made in his career.

With this incredible achievement, he edges close to the elusive top 3 of three-pointing shooting all time. Ray Allen, Stephen Curry, and Reggie Miller are the only players ahead of James Harden on this list. Harden now needs less than 110 threes to surpass Reggie Miller over his career. However, surpassing his current NBA colleague Stephen Curry and legend Ray Allen is still a question of the far future for Harden.

Is James Harden a top 75 player of all time?

After the NBA released its list of Top 75 players of All-time, the league buzzed about whether a lot of players deserved to be on that list. And whether they have left a lot more deserving candidates out of the list. Among the first 25 names released to be a part of this list, they also named Harden on this list.

The offensive genius has accomplished a lot in his career mainly with the Houston Rockets. And now with the Brooklyn Nets, he looks to add the one thing missing to cap off a successful career, a championship ring. Despite that, he has won several scoring titles and was the Most Valuable Player in the 2017-18 season. So he has done enough in his career to be justifiably a part of this elite list.

Although Harden’s role at Brooklyn is now very different from what it was at the Rockets. He is now the primary playmaker instead of focusing just on scoring like at Houston.
