Sasha Banks Pays Tribute to Eddie Guerrero in Absolute Boss Fashion

WWE legend Eddie Guerrero had a tremendous impact on the pro-wrestling business and literally changed the game with his stellar performances and connection with the fans. Recently, Sasha Banks attended the iconic mural of the former WWE Champion.

Ever since Guerrero’s passing, there have been multiple young superstars who claim to be inspired by Guerrero and joined the wrestling business because of the ‘Latino Heat.’

One such superstar is former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks. ‘The Boss’ has detailed multiple times that it was Guerrero’s in-ring style that lured her in wrestling.

Sasha Banks visits the iconic Eddie Guerrero’s mural

Eddie Guerrero is a legendary figure in wrestling, so much so that he had a mural painted in his hometown, El Paso, Texas. Sasha Banks cites the former WWE Champion as being one of her heroes and wants to keep Guerrero’s name alive in the ring.

Sasha Banks took to her Twitter handle and uploaded a pic of her standing next to the iconic mural of the former WWE Champion which is in El Paso.

The mural was created by Eric Dubitsky in 2009 as a part of a project called ‘El Paso Through My Eyes’. Since then, the wrestlers who are in the town visit the mural.

This mural is the symbol of how the ‘Latio Heat’ affected the lives of not only the people he worked with, but also the people who are distant from pro-wrestling.

The WWE Hall of Famer, Eddie Guerrero’s career spanned from Mexico to Japan, from Japan to the United States to the Indies.

It’s overwhelming to see how such wrestlers can strike certain emotions in the audience and are still celebrated long after they’re gone.
