Figures disclosed for her firm, Bucklers Hard Productions Limited, reveal that reserves were a healthy £373,000 — some £268,000 up on 2020.

The details show Emma owed creditors £95,197 but not what salary or dividends she paid herself.

However, she loaned herself £132,000, which she repaid with interest.

The figures, lodged with Companies House, cover the 12 months to the end of August.

Emma made her debut in The Crown’s fourth season last year.

Critics hailed her performances and she won a Golden Globe, along with co-star Josh O’Connor, 31, who played Prince Charles.

Emma, who grew up in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, called the reaction “mental”. She said: “The world went crazy.

“My phone went absolutely haywire. It was mad.”

Next year she will play the lead in a film adaptation of D.H. Lawrence novel Lady Chatterley’s Lover.
