Big Injury Update on Dak Prescott Ahead of Dallas Cowboys vs Minnesota Vikings
Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott sustained an unfortunate calf injury in the final play of the thrilling overtime win against the New England Patriots. However, one week after the injury, the Cowboys remain optimistic about his return in the Week 8 clash with the Minnesota Vikings.
Prescott, though, is not expected to participate in the team practice on Monday. However, he will go full throttle in his training starting Wednesday, as the team wants to proceed carefully with the injury of their star QB.
Dak Prescott to make a return to Dallas Cowboys training
The Cowboys will make a return on week 8 after a week 7 bye. However, their bye was when their star quarterback went down with an injury. And now Prescott will recover well before their return after the bye, giving him ample time for rehabilitation.

With ample time left in their weekly countdown, the Cowboys are cautious in their approach to recover Dak from a tweaked calf. And after missing substantial time in the training ground, the quarterback is all set to make a return ahead of his visit to the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota.

It is no sign of concern for the Cowboys, as even on Saturday, Prescott was doing his rehab work, making him ahead of his progress than what the team expected him to be.
Dak Prescott having an MVP worthy season
Prescott’s exceptional performances so far this season have made him emerge as a top contender for the MVP title race. He completed 73.1% of his passes covering 1,813 yards and 16 touchdowns in just six games for the franchise. Subsequently, the Cowboys stand proudly with a five-game winning streak since the season-opening loss against the Buccaneers.
The Cowboys would again root for the 28-year-old quarterback in their clash against the Vikings. As a victory against them would make their winning streak to six games. It is to be seen if Dak Prescott delivers to the expectations that he has been branded with.
