GOOD NEWS! Russell Wilson Is Set To Be Declared Fit To Play Against Green Bay Packers

Things have not been going well for the Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson and Co have had a dismal start to their NFL season so far. Their last match against the LA Rams is a perfect indicator of their season so far. They were 2-2 heading into the clash against the LA Rams and, unfortunately for them; they lost that in a humiliating manner.

Football is a game of fine margins and Seattle has been on the wrong side this season. While losses can be hard to take in, an injury to your key player on top of a loss is like adding salt to the wounds. The Seahawks lost Russell Wilson to a finger injury in their match against LA Rams, but it looks like the Seahawks captain can make his return ahead of their clash against the Green Bay Packers.

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll reveals Russell Wilson is pushing himself physically to get back on track

For a side like Seattle who were facing trouble finding consistency, losing Russell Wilson to an injury came as a big blow. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll acknowledged this but also said that all hope is not lost. He shared how the Seahawks captain was pushing himself on a physical and mental level to recover at the earliest.

“It’s hard on him,” Carroll said while talking to the press.. “He wants to be out there so bad. So he’s going to continue to really condition hard and push himself physically and mentally so that he’s not losing anything other than the ability to throw it. And I mean, it’s really admirable the way he’s going about it. He’s doing it exactly the best way you can possibly do it. And we’ll keep our fingers crossed for a good result.”

NFL insider reveals Wilson is a certainty against the Packers “barring any hiccups”

After Pete Carroll’s press meeting on the 21st, it looks like things have improved for Wilson. According to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, Russell Wilson is a guaranteed starter against Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers. According to him, Wilson will return in time to face the Packers “barring any hiccups” in his recovery.

He revealed Wilson was progressing well with the pin in his finger coming out within the next week. Mike also shared that Russ had also started practicing fake plays and other light physical training routines.
