The couple divorced in 2006, after seven years of marriage, and have successfully co-parented since, according to their social media posts.

How old are Reese Witherspoon’s kids?

Witherspoon, 45, and Phillippe, 47, split in 2006 when their daughter Ava was seven years old, and their son Deacon was three years old.

The ex-couple got together on October 23 to celebrate Deacon’s 18th birthday, and both took to social media and complimented each other’s co-parenting skills.

Their daughter, Ava, is now 22 years old and bears a striking resemblance to Witherspoon, even going so far as to follow in her Hollywood footsteps.

Witherspoon married Jim Toth in 2011, and the couple welcomed Witherspoon’s third child one year later.

The couple keeps their life fairly private, and Witherspoon doesn’t include photos of their 9-year-old son, Tennessee James Toth, on social media.

Although little is known about Tennessee Toth, Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe took to the limelight as a model and actress, often showing up at red carpet events alongside her mom.

Ava keeps a relatively low profile on social media with few posts, but most recently wishing her brothers a happy birthday.

Her post on September 27 for her youngest brother said, “Happy happy birthday to this bold, sensitive, smart, & energetic boy. Sure, I was a big sister before him, but he made me an even better one! I love you, Tenn.”

She continued the birthday wishes to her brother Deacon and said, “Watching you grow into who you’re meant to be is such a joy, and I’m eternally grateful to be your big sister. I love you oh so much, welcome to “adulthood”!!”

Deacon Phillippe stays away from the Hollywood spotlight, preferring to write and produce music instead.

His first single, Long Run, hit iTunes Top 20 charts in 2020, and he told Interview Magazine, “I realized there’s more to making music than just being a vocalist, and that a lot of times it’s the production that makes me feel something.”
