Lakers Fans Salute Dwight Howard’s Spirit as He Practices Alone After Painful Suns Loss
In a shocking commencement to the season, the Los Angeles Lakers have not yet won a game so far. Throughout the off-season, the franchise went about their business diligently. They acquired some experienced campaigners, who had a rapport with current players like LeBron James and Anthony Davis. With stars like Russell Westbrook and Dwight Howard added to the mix, they started off as favorites. But they haven’t lived up to their bidding so far. After some disappointing outings, 35-year-old Howard has taken it upon himself to brush up his game.
In their opening encounter, the Lakers fell short against Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors. Even in the absence of Klay Thompson, GSW rallied to victory. Meanwhile, LA was left dazed in Q4, unable to rack up points consistently. A couple of nights later, a tough battle against last year’s runners-up – the Phoenix Suns awaited them. As they fell to an agonizing loss again, all hell broke loose in the Lakers dugout.

On a tough night, Devin Booker and Chris Paul ran riot on the Lakers. With emotions flaring up, veterans Howard and Davis engaged in a brutal altercation mid-match. After the game ended, the 8-time All-star revealed that it was just their passion, and they sorted things out. However, peculiar images post the encounter left fans baffled.
In an inspiring fashion, Dwight Howard stayed back at the Staples Center after the game. The center-forward put in the hard yards, and practiced by himself. He has had two disappointing outings so far, and will want to improve his game. This was a good start, as the 35-year-old came back out to work on his game while fans left the arena.
