Lando Norris Takes a Cheeky Dig at Lewis Hamilton’s Radio Complaints

Since making his F1 debut in 2019, fans across the world have seen the evolution of Lando Norris in terms of his personality. From starting out relatively quiet, the Briton is among the most hilarious drivers in the F1 paddock today, who often doesn’t shy away from taking subtle digs at his colleagues.

In a video shared by McLaren recently, Norris embraced his newfound personality by making a subtle joke on Lewis Hamilton.

Norris and Hamilton shared a few memorable moments this season. At the Austrian Grand Prix, the pair engaged in an incredible battle for around 20 laps before Hamilton passed Norris. While he complimented Norris, he struggled later in the race, ultimately finishing behind the 21-year-old.

At the Russian Grand Prix, the pair battled for the race lead. Although this was another feisty battle, rain in the final few laps saw them make different decisions, which saw Hamilton take his 100th race win.

While the duo share a healthy amount of respect, Norris doesn’t shy away from taking the occasional dig at the reigning world champion. Recently, McLaren shared a video of him and his teammate Daniel Ricciardo playing a ‘Drive to Survive’ themed quiz. Each of them spoke a dialogue from the show, while the other needed to guess who said it.

One of those questions saw Norris give Hamilton as an answer. However, when Ricciardo revealed Lance Stroll said that dialogue, it left Norris stumped. He then took a shot at Hamilton while mentioning the reasoning behind his answer. He said“I only know Lewis goes, ‘Man, we should’ve boxed!’”

Can Norris deliver another strong weekend in Austin?

Although the Briton qualified P8 for tomorrow’s race, he may feel slightly disappointed. Not only did he qualify behind Ricciardo in P7, but both Ferrari cars as well.

Although Ferrari looked slightly better on Saturday, Norris’ performances this season would have him high on confidence. Expect the Briton to make moves up the grid in tomorrow’s race, as McLaren‘s battle with Ferrari continues to intensify.
