“No Chance”: After Tyreek Hill, Boxing Champion Claims Usain Bolt Cannot Beat Him in a Race

The World’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, often faces race challenges by athletes. The Olympic legend stands undefeated to date, as no one has surpassed his astonishing world records in 100m and 200m races.

Adding his name to the Bolt challengers, boxing star Shakan Pitters has challenged the Olympic legend. However, he has an interesting race planned for Bolt.

Former British Light-Weight Champion Shakan Pitters grabbed the spotlight as he will soon face-off with Leeds puncher Reece Cartwright for the Vacant WBC International Light-Heavyweight Championship. Notably, the boxing star also has a past with track and field sport. Popularly known as the ‘Big Shak’, used to compete in the 800m race during his high-school time.

Interestingly, he thinks he can defeat Usain Bolt in the 800m race, although with a twist.

Shakan Pitters said, “I certainly wasn’t Usain Bolt when it came to short distances, but over 800m I’d have given him a good go. It would have to running backwards though! I get all that explosive speed but with me, when people put their bodies through all that pain, I love it. It’s crazy but I love to push through it.”

He further added, Bolt could never catch him in the 800m race. Pitters said, “That is why I was a middle-distance runner as a kid because I just knew how to adapt and stay calm under pressure. Would Usain be able to catch me over 800m? With my daddy long legs? No chance!”

Other athletes who have challenged Bolt for a race

One of the notable names in the list of Bolt challengers is the NLF star Tyreek Hill. Interestingly, Hill has been in an online verbal war with the Olympic legend. Hill had claimed Bolt, he can defeat him in a race. Bolt, being the dominator, had accepted the challenge; however, none of the parties have finalized the race yet.

With Bolt being retired from the field since 2017, it would be a challenge for him to compete against active athletes. However, Bolt has extraordinary skills on the track. Do you think Shakan Pitters or Tyreek Hill have any chance against the Olympic legend?
