“Let’s wander down here, we’ve got Rory McIlroy and Serena Williams. Venus (Williams) wasn’t that keen to talk to me five years ago, I don’t know if I’ll get a double fault or an ace,” said Brundle sarcastically.
After Recalling this, Brundle quickly went to Serena, who was standing with her husband. He tried really hard and kept on asking if she was open to having a chat with him.
“Serena, may I have a chat? Serena, are you good for a chat? Martin Brundle, British TV,” asked Brundle.

Surprisingly, Serena didn’t hear Brundle and just walked past him without giving any reactions. She either didn’t notice Brundle or decided to ignore him deliberately before the race. Brundle definitely thought about the latter and started speaking that it was a double fault for him since Venus already ignored him five years ago.
