The revelation is one of many in her new book Katie Price: Harvey And Me, which is published tomorrow.

She writes: “I was really paranoid about the doctors looking at me. I just couldn’t get the thought out of my head.

“I know it sounds silly, but I just thought they would be judging me because I was this pin-up girl and they’d go home and tell all their mates they’d seen Jordan’s ‘bits’.”

She added: “I know it’s totally ridiculous and doctors don’t even think about that, but I was convinced.

“I was adamant that I didn’t want to give birth laying on my back with my legs open for everyone to see. Instead, I was squatting on all fours.”

Katie gave birth to her first child Harvey, now 19, in Brighton in the summer of 2002.

Her son from a fleeting relationship with former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke, Harvey has a range of disabilities.

born with ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness.

The former glamour model has raised him alone saying the retired sportsman hasn’t spoken to their son since he was ten.

Katie is also mum to 16-year-old Junior, 14-year-old Princess, eight-year-old Jett, and seven-year-old Bunny.
