Sasha Banks Claims Current WWE Women’s Roster is the Greatest Ever

WWE is home to some of the best female superstars in the wrestling industry. WWE Superstar Sasha Banks is one of them. She is no longer a stranger to the WWE Universe now with her legit matches.

Sasha Banks has won the RAW Women’s Championship five times and the SmackDown Women’s Championship on one occasion. However, she established her influence on the female roster by adopting the attitude of “The Boss.” In 2015, she made her main roster debut with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch on Raw.

Banks had been the fan-favorite with her wrestling skills, delivery on the mics, and attitude towards winning. In the 2016 WWE Draft, Banks was drafted to RAW who challenged the RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

She made her WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 32 where she fought in a triple threat match against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.

Sasha Banks comments on the current Women’s roster

From the beginning, Sasha Banks was a part of the women’s revolution. From battling for the Women’s championship to defending it, she was clear about her ambitions. At Hell in the Cell, she proved her potential to be ” The Boss” by winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the first time against Bailey.

During a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Sasha was questioned about whether she feels pressure to carry the women’s revolution. Banks replied, “Yes just because I want to keep the momentum going because I wanted to make sure that if I’m not in the title picture, there are more women in the title picture and there’s two women’s storylines going on at once.”

“I just want more, more, more for the women, and I feel like we’ve been doing that. For me, it’s nothing new. I feel the pressure less and less because they believe in me so much that I don’t have to put pressure on myself anymore.”

Later, Banks also appreciated the current women’s roster. She loves the growing competition in the women’s division. She stated, “The WWE women’s division is the best it’s ever been. I think it’s the greatest of any era from top to bottom and I can’t wait to see what more the future brings, even from NXT 2.0.

To see how many women are down there from when I first started—there was only a group of eight and now there’s maybe a group of 30—just to see the growth from then to now is so beautiful.”

Sasha is now drafted to Friday Night SmackDown, where she will resume her quest for a championship shot. For the SmackDown Women’s Championship, she has her sights set on Charlotte Flair.

Earlier, Banks had defeated Flair for the Raw Women’s Title. Can she do it again? Comment down.
