According to DraftKings.com, Jamel Herring received a guaranteed purse of $600,000 against Carl Frampton, which became somewhere between $1.5-$2 million after the PPV revenue. Thus, his latest fight against Stevenson was a massive financial upgrade.
The fight was available live on the ESPN PPV, and it’s safe to assume both the contenders would have bagged over $2 million from the fight. As for ‘Fearless’, he has grabbed the bigger amount and also the world title. It has been an absolute win-win situation for him.
