“Unforgettable Experience”: Caroline Wozniacki Follows Serena Williams at Us Grand Prix 2021
The 2021 US grand prix which took place on Sunday witnessed several celebrities attending the event. Right from Megan thee Stallion to Serena Williams, popular personalities from the world of entertainment and sports attended the race. One of the numerous popular attendees was former world no.1, Caroline Wozniacki.
Wozniacki, who retired from tennis in January last year, has given birth to a baby girl recently. The Dane attended the US grand prix event along with husband, David Lee. The former world no.1 thanked Mercedes and Rolex for the ‘unforgettable experience’ at the race on Sunday.

Wozniacki could be seen taking posing with husband and also with Hollywood star, Ben Stiller. Her good friend Serena Williams also attended the event along with husband, Alexis Ohanian Jr.
Both Wozniacki and Serena remained good friend on and off the court. There were several instances where the duo could be seen spending quality time with each other during Wozniacki’s playing days.
Ahead of her retirement, the Danish player played the doubles alongside Serena at the Auckland Open last year. The duo reached the finals where they were beaten by Asia Muhammad and Taylor Townsend.

Wozniacki shares an amazing friendship with Serena Williams on the WTA tour
An auto-immune disease forced Wozniacki into retirement. The former world no.1 was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and had to take the difficult decision of leaving the sport once and forever.
In numerous instances over the past, both Serena and Wozniacki had extended support to each other in times of need. In a recent interview, the Dane called Serena her sister and remained grateful to have found memorable friendships during her run on the WTA tour.

Caroline Wozniacki reached a career-high no.1 ranking in 2010 and continued her dream run the next year as well. Throughout her career, the Danish player managed to grab victories against top stars like Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwanska, Maria Sharapova, and Simona Halep.
