Vince McMahon Completely Hands On With Top WWE Raw Superstars’ Gimmick

Keith Lee is one of the Superstars who knows what’s truly important. Therefore, when he moved from NXT to Raw, he embraced all the changes WWE put him through, knowing that’s the way to survive the industry.

During a session on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Lee spoke about his new character, and what it resembles.

“Bearcat has some relevance to who I am, but in a more competitive level, almost football related. Just a guy who wants to get business done. Bearcat is a guy who walks out there already ready to decimate whomever is in the ring. It’s a real interesting switch, for sure.”

However, what he really revealed was Vince McMahon’s reaction to the character. It relieved the Limitless One that the Big Man has been upfront about how he feels regarding the ‘Bearcat’ character.

“I would say he’s been quite hands on, which is honestly something I need because I want to know what he wants as opposed to making a guess or estimation or hypothesis. If I know what he wants directly, it makes it that much easier to give him what he’s looking for. He’s the man, he runs this, if he wants a specific thing out of his talent, then the talent is to give him what he wants.” H/t Out of Character with Ryan Satin

Lee debuted the new character on WWE Raw on September 27th after sharing it with the audience for the first time during a dark match.

Fans will know Keith Lee as Bearcat Lee on WWE Raw

Initially, when Lee debuted the new character, fans knew him as Keith ‘Bearcat’ Lee.

However, WWE ran a promotional package for his new character, and in that referred to Lee as Bearcat Lee, indicating WWE is dropping ‘Keith’ from his name altogether.

Up until now, Lee has been squashing talent, but it’s possible the company will reveal his storyline on WWE Raw: October 25th, 2021. This will be his first feud after WWE changed his character to Bearcat.
