WATCH: When Joey Logano Pulled Off an Epic 360° Save at Kansas Speedway
The Kansas Speedway has produced some great races over the years. Back in 2019, Joey Logano finished that race at Kansas in 17th place, but he had an adventurous time. Some time during the race, there was a wreck and Logano’s #22 car was sent spinning into the infield. Somehow, the Team Penske driver pulled off a 360° spin and avoided hitting any wall.
When his car was back under control, he was pointing in the right direction and continued his race. Unfortunately, it did mess up his race and he had to fight his way back up the order. In the end, he could only muster 17th place, which impacted his chances of making it into the Top 8 that year.

Fortunately, he barely managed to squeak in and keep his championship hopes alive. Sadly, he ended up finishing the season in fifth place, while Kyle Busch won the championship. At least Logano could take comfort in the fact that he was the top Team Penske driver that year. He was ahead of seventh-placed Ryan Blaney and eighth-placed Brad Keselowski.
Joey Logano is in a similar position in 2021
Fast forward to two years later, and Logano is once again competing to stay alive in the Playoff race. This time, he is aiming to try and make it into the Championship 4 for the second season in succession. However, the competition is a lot fiercer, and there will be a massive dogfight for the Final 4 spots.

Kyle Larson has already booked his berth with his win at the Texas Motor Speedway. Now, he gets to relax and watch his seven rivals sweat it out until one of them joins him after the Kansas race. The question is, will Joey Logano be one of them or will he have to wait until Martinsville next weekend to find out?
