Claressa Shields Says She Could Beat Up a “Regular Old Joe Like Jake Paul”

Claressa Shields does not like Jake Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ has not really ever said anything to her or about her; however, ‘T-Rex’ truly dislikes the 24-year-old for some reason. She has already trash-talked and spoken out about him in multiple interviews.

Once again, Claressa Shields is back at it.

Ahead of her second PFL lightweight MMA fight against Abigail Montes, the 26-year-old once again spoke about Jake Paul. She highlighted that the Ohio native is simply not on her level and that she would beat him up in a sparring session.

“I don’t know what world do people live in where they think a man that has not been to the Olympics, a man that has not fought professionally, like there are a lot of women in boxing that could beat up me, especially a regular old joe like Jake Paul like, come on, it don’t even make sense, what they be talking about.

“If I was too spar Jake, which I know is too much to actually get a fight with him because it’d be too embarrassing right, but if we were too spar, I could use one hand, my jab, I don’t even have to use the banger, I would outjab, outhook, and uppercut him and embarrass him. That’s how skilled I am.

“This is not a shot at Jake Paul like ‘oh you’re trash’, but you’re not as great of a boxer as me. And, if you are, go to the Olympics, go, because I’ve sparred against those guys too, who are Olympic silver medalists, gold medalists, I’ve sparred against all of them.

“Jake Paul couldn’t grace the ring with those guys because they would destroy him, just like I would, it’s not disrespectful, it’s just that I’m a skilled boxer, respect it and know it, just because I’m a woman, don’t get to tripping now. This is real-life stuff,” said Claressa Shields.

The rivalry between Jake Paul and Claressa Shields seems to be one-sided

Claressa Shields initiated this online ‘feud’ with the YouTuber-turned-boxer. She first took a shot at Jake Paul at the press conference of her PFL debut.

She clapped back at a reporter by saying, “don’t ever disrespect me” for asking her if she would ever consider fighting on Paul’s undercard.

After the event, she again tweeted out to clarify her statement –

“DON’T GET IT TWISTED! The question was “Would you fight the Undercard of Jake Paul like Amanda Serrano” my answer was “don’t disrespect me, No I would not fight the undercard of him, I listed my accomplishments & let it be known NEVER WILL I EVER AND JAKE PAUL WOULD FALL TO ME,” said Claressa Shields.

Shields later even tweeted out a video of a pad-work session and took yet another shot at Paul.

While Shields has been on a mocking streak on her social media, the Ohio native has been surprisingly quiet about all of this. However, Paul’s ‘Most Valuable Promotions’ Twitter account did respond to her pad-work video.
