Halloween week is legendary in the world of Strictly Come Dancing, with celebrities tasked with delivering world class performances while in the most ridiculous costumes possible.
And the bar has already been set pretty high by Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkova.
BBC Breakfast host Dan was taken aback when he discovered that he will be dancing the jive dressed as a lobster this Saturday night.
Yes, a lobster.
His dance partner Nadiya dropped by the show this morning to spill the beans on what style they would be dancing next, and she couldn’t keep a straight face when she got to what they would be wearing.
Teasing their routine would be ‘something very, very different’, the 32-year-old laughed: ‘It’s a jive. But wait for it… you know it’s a very special week on Strictly so we have to dress up. So a jive, and both of us… we’re lobsters. Can you imagine two lobsters jiving on the Strictly floor?’

Dan, 44, appeared rather baffled, asking: ‘So we’re like… proper full red lobster outfits?’
Nadiya established that yes, they would be full outfits complete with claws, with Dan adding: ‘So when I was in that intimate emotional space last week for the Viennese Waltz, this is a million miles away this week.
‘If you’ve ever wondered what a 6ft 6 lobster looks like, I invite you to watch Strictly on Saturday.’
The crustacean costumes are there for a reason – the couple will be performing their jive to The B-52s song Rock Lobster.
Strictly has form with dressing their celebs up as shellfish, as Scott Mills can attest to.

The newly engaged DJ memorably danced a samba as Sebastian the crab to Under The Sea from The Little Mermaid with professional partner Joanne Clifton in 2014.
Dan can only hope to be as iconic this weekend.
The rest of the Halloween numbers have yet to be revealed, but Dan will be hoping to get a higher score than John Whaite, Rhys Stephenson, Rose Ayling-Ellis, AJ Odudu, Tom Fletcher, Sara Davies, Adam Peaty, Tilly Ramsay and Judi Love.

Judi has yet to confirm whether she will be back this weekend with partner Graziano Di Prima, after missing last week’s show due to a positive Covid-19 test.
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday on BBC One.
