Tyson Fury’s Wife Reveals Why It Became ‘Horrible’ to Watch “The Gypsy King” Fight

Every time Tyson Fury has stepped through the ropes, he is assured to have left the fans entertained. The undefeated WBC heavyweight champion is arguably the best of his era, and his in-ring displays are absolutely spectacular. However, it has never been easy for his family to watch him fight, especially for his wife, Paris Fury.

Tyson and Paris have been together for over two decades. And Paris Fury has been the prime support for Tyson Fury’s boxing success. While Fury has now achieved it all in the sport, his wife revealed what she feels while her husband gets through vicious opponents in the ring.

In a chat with Talk Sport, Paris Fury said, “When Tyson used to fight at the very beginning, it was more of a novelty. Because Tyson never got punched. If you look at Tyson now, he still has a straight nose. For boxers, that’s pretty rare. And he has been um, as the years went by and he fought the higher opposition. Then he will get hit back, and that’s when it became horrible. It became not nice to watch.”

Paris Fury’s statement sounded similar to what WBC Interim heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte recently said about ‘The Gypsy King’. Despite being unbeaten, Fury has contracted some serious punishment in his fights from recent years against Otto Wallin and Deontay Wilder. He looked vulnerable, and that’s what concerned Paris Fury.

Well, Tyson Fury’s contemporaries have seen it as a chance to outpoint him. Following his thirty-first pro-win against Deontay Wilder, ‘The Gypsy King’ shall look for a long layoff. But on returning, he may have to defend the WBC belt against Dillian Whyte.

Dillian Whyte is waiting to hurt Tyson Fury

In a recent interview, Whyte scrutinized Fury’s performance and claimed to have seen several flaws. So, he may have bright a chance of landing an upset if the All-English clash happens. Whyte was supposed to face Otto Wallin on October 30, but pulled out after suffering a bicep injury. However, as of now, he is still the WBC mandatory.

Hence, he is still in a pole position to fight ‘The Gypsy King’. Despite it, Tyson Fury still looks favorable to win against ‘The Body Snatcher’. Having stopped Wilder twice, he is undoubtedly the best in the ‘Big-Boy’ club of boxing.

That being said, it will be up to Whyte to come forward and present his best to thwart Fury and win this potential clash.
