Angelina Jolie expertly dodges question about The Weeknd amid dating rumors

Angelina Jolie made it clear she won’t be commenting about her rumored relationship with The Weeknd.
Indeed, the Eternals gave star gave an awkwardly frosty response when one journalist attempted to bring up her recent outings with the I Feel It Coming singer in a new interview.
When asked whether her children were more excited by her role in Eternals or by her friendship with The Weeknd, the 46-year-old replied: ‘They’re very excited about this film… If that’s what you’re asking.’
She then glanced at her co-star Salma Hayek before adding: ‘They’re very excited about this film.’
The Maleficent actress and the Party Monster hitmaker, who famously sang ‘Lips like Angelina’ on his 2016 track, have been spotted together multiple times this year.
Although there has been plenty of speculation about a potential blossoming romance between the pair, a source previously told Page Six that they could have been meeting for a business dinner.

They said: ‘They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date]. He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business.’
The Weeknd – real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – and Angelina are also both represented by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, so it could have been an innocent work dinner – although a romance would be much more interesting.

He was previously in a relationship with model Bella Hadid from 2015 until late 2016, before reuniting in 2018; however, the couple ended things for good in 2019 – and he was with Selena Gomez for 10 months in 2017.
Angelina shares Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13, with ex-husband Brad Pitt.

The Original Sin actress filed for divorce from Brad in 2016 after over a decade together and two years after they tied the knot in 2014.
Although they have been legally declared single as of 2019, they are still yet to finalize a custody agreement for their kids as the legal battle continues.
