Donald Trump’s former advisor Omarosa Manigault Newman has opened up on huge tensions to come in the upcoming Big Brother VIP with Caitlyn Jenner.

The first season of the revived format, which begins on November 1 on Channel Seven in Australia, is already promising some explosive action in the house.

It seems the pair everyone will be keeping an eye on are Caitlyn and Omarosa, with the latter previously being employed by President Trump until being fired in 2017.

On the other hand, Caitlyn was running for Governor of California at the time of filming and made it clear she was a strong supporter of the former president in the process.

Speaking to Natalie Barr and David Koch on Sunrise, Omarosa revealed what viewers can expect to see when the show airs in November.

She claimed Caitlyn was ‘playing to Donald Trump’ and was ‘nasty’ whilst they competed in the series together.

Omarosa told the presenting duo: ‘She was running for the Governor of California while she was in the house, so I think she thought she was kind of playing to Donald Trump because she’s such a big Trump supporter.

‘She loves everything he does and so she thought by being nasty to me, like he was nasty to me, that she would curry favour with him.

‘She just kind of tried to separate me and isolate me, she tried to turn the girls against me. You’ll see in the episodes that come.’

Omarosa said Caitlyn came into the house wearing a ‘red MAGA hat’ which she went on to label as ‘really sad’.

It sounds like they’ll be plenty of drama ahead in the series, which will feature other names such as Married At First Sight Australia’s controversial contestant Jessika Power, and Meghan Markle’s brother Thomas Markle Jr.

It’s not the only interview in which the former aide to Trump gave Caitlyn a scathing review, making similar comments on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday.

She told the pair Caitlyn was ‘nasty’ to her during their stint together and went on to brand her ‘a Karen’.

Repeating her previous claims, Omarosa said: ‘Honestly, she didn’t talk to me very much. She was very, very nasty to me.’
