Wrestler Braun Strowman will perform as ‘The Titan’ Adam Scherr after his WWE release over the summer.

The former world champion – whose nickname was the Monster Among Men during his eight-year spell with the company – has revealed his new moniker as he announced what could be his last show of 2021.

Sharing a poster for Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl event, Scherr confirmed he will be making an appearance, while the poster referred to him by his latest moniker.

He tweeted: ‘Seeing this is probably the only show I’m gonna do for the rest of the year I couldn’t think of anywhere better to do one then my back yard in Wisconsin!!!

‘Come see me at @BlizzardBrawl Dec4th #Titan #Rise #AdamScherr #TimeForSomeFun (sic)’

The promotion has confirmed Scherr will be part of a huge main event, teaming with real life friend EC3 to take on Jake Something and Rohit Raju.

It comes after he defeated EC3 at Free Your Narrative II: The Monster In Us All, and he looked to be in incredible shape at the the second of his pal’s FYN events.

The towering star shared a snap of himself looking utterly ripped as he stood over his opponent, and he posted an emotional message on Instagram after the bout.

He said: ‘You helped free me from so many monsters I had locked inside me. Thank you @therealec3 you helped take my rose colored glasses off and truly see the beauty of the world!!!! I changed the day we filmed this. You believed in me and I believe in you

‘@freethenarrator told me to bet on myself and that hit so close to home because that is what got me so far in life betting on myself and I forgot how to do it i stopped believing in myself.

‘I left millions of dollars on the table to be able to do something I cared about in my heart something I feel will be so very important to other people that are struggling with there selfs. (sic)’

Scherr – who was let go by WWE at the beginning of June after spending his whole in-ring wrestling career with the company as part of either Raw, SmackDown or NXT – added that some things are ‘more important’ than money and described this as one of them, insisting he was ‘lost’ and in need of a shot at freedom.

He continued: ‘There’s more important things in life sometimes than a pay check and this is 100% one of those things. I am forever indebted to you both for reaching your hands out to a man who was lost and just needed an outlet to be set free!!!!
