A juicy new trailer has offered the first glimpse at Tiger King 2, and boy there is a *lot* to unpack.

The acclaimed Netflix documentary, which follows the lives of big cat owners Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin, will return in November for another wild chapter on the streaming platform.

The new series will explore ‘newfound revelations… on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners’, the synopsis has teased.

And judging from the two-minute teaser alone, it’s going to be even more chaotic than season one.

Here are all the key moments from the trailer…

Jeff Lowe’s threesome

Tiger King 2 has promised to explore the ‘sudden fame’ of some of the characters from season one, including Jeff Lowe.

In the teaser, he gloats that he has ‘more money than God’ before flashing a bedazzled Tiger King chain.

After that though, he’s seen lying on a bed with his partner Lauren and a mystery woman.

At the same time, Joe is heard saying: ‘Jeff and Lauren are like two rabid dogs in a goldfish bowl.’

It wouldn’t be the first time Tiger King has put the sex lives of the contributors under the microscope. In season one, Joe’s throuple with John Finlay and Travis Maldonado was explored.

Is it Jeff and Lauren’s turn now?

Mystery of Carole Baskin’s ex-husband Don Lewis continues

Fresh details surrounding Don Lewis’ disappearance have emerged (Picture: Netflix)

Of course, the mystery of Carole Baskin’s missing husband Don Lewis continues, with a narrator offering up new nuggets of information.

Fresh intel claims Don was ‘dealing with some shady characters in Costa Rica’.

‘Don liked to play with dangerous stuff,’ a new face reveals. ‘They’ll kill you for that.’

The unsolved case of Don’s disappearance had viewers hooked last year after when Joe made claims that his rival, Big Cat Rescue CEO, killed her husband and fed him to her tigers.

Carole, however, has always strongly denied any involvement in Don’s disappearance.

Joe Exotic’s campaign for freedom

Joe’s fight for freedom is covered in Tiger King 2 and the star maintains his innocence in a phone call from prison.

‘Everybody from the zoo is out there making money and I’m paying the price for every one of them people,’ he says.

Last January, Joe’s team unsuccessfully campaigned for a presidential pardon from Donald Trump and even had a limo outside jail waiting for him.

In the trailer, screams of ‘free Joe Exotic’ are heard, while one fan tells the camera: ‘Joe didn’t hurt anybody, that’s my opinion. I am [an] eastern European bitch, so I cannot be wrong.’

The fall of Tim Stark’s zoo

Tim Stark’s zoo closure is another storyline (Picture: Netflix)

The fall of Tim Stark is another story set to be examined in Tiger King 2 given that his roadside zoo is now defunct.

‘Tim’s so paranoid he had booby traps and security cameras,’ a narrator tells the camera before an irate Stark states: ‘Nobody’s gonna take my animals. It’s that simple.’

Later on in the trailer, a number of police cars are seen storming Tim’s land with him describing the scenes to the Waco massacre…

Cameo from the late Erik Cowie

Erik Cowie, who died last month, features (Picture: Netflix)

The late Erik Cowie makes an appearance in the Tiger King 2 trailer in a blink-and-you’d-miss-it moment. Although not much is given away by this brief cameo, our guess is that he’ll play a part in Joe’s feud with Jeff.

The zookeeper died September 3 aged 52  from acute and chronic alcohol abuse, according to the New York Medical Examiner.

Cowie cared for the animals housed at the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma and continued working there after Exotic was arrested and incarcerated.

Cowie testified against Exotic at his trial, alleging he’d seen Exotic shoot and kill some of the animals at the zoo. Following the release of Tiger King, he was asked if Joe should be released from prison.

He said at the time: ‘No. Not no, but f*ck no. 22 years doing federal time – that guy’s gonna die in there. Good riddance.’

Tiger King 2 launches November 17 on Netflix.
