“For all of you, you know, experts of the game who said, Oh, you know, John’s not gonna make it. I don’t know why he’s changing. Oh, he’s only chasing the money. No, I’ve repeatedly said I don’t do this for the money,” said Rahm. 

“I saw an opportunity to improve my game. And I think based on how I’ve played this year, I’ve proven it right even through money. In fact, to change, I’ve had arguably the best year of my career. So hopefully, this is the beginning of a great stretch of golf.”

Meanwhile, the 2020-21 PGA Tour season was the best season for Jon Rahm in his career so far. He won his first major championship, the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, with an incredible performance.
