David Harbour fans might do a double take when they see him in his role for upcoming movie We Have A Ghost.

The Stranger Things star, best known for playing the grouchy but lovable Chief Jim Hopper in the Netflix sci-fi, has taken on a completely different look for the flick.

Donning a comb-over hairstyle, David sported two different costumes on set – a checked shirt and brown trousers, and a bowling shirt emblazoned with the phrases: ‘Banana split/Split happens’.

The 46-year-old seemed to be doing his best to keep cool in the Louisiana heat as he gripped onto a handheld fan, while he also looked deep in concentration as he filmed his scenes.

David’s new Netflix project is thought to be based on the short story Ernest by Geoff Manaugh.

It follows Kevin, a man who finds a ghost in his home and becomes an overnight internet sensation with his family.

But things quickly turn serious as they become targets of the CIA.

The actor has definitely had a busy time of it over the past year or so – he’s had plenty of roles to sink his teeth in.

The fourth season of Stranger Things is coming next year and, as we’ve found out from the trailers, Hopper isn’t exactly as dead and buried as once thought.

David also starred in Black Widow alongside Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh, introducing fans to his version of Red Guardian.

Meanwhile, he also thrilled fans by marrying Lily Allen in a sweet Las Vegas wedding.

Recently opening up on married life, he explained: ‘I’m so grateful that I’m not alone anymore, and that I have someone that I can tell everything to and who can tell me everything.

‘We can share this experience of walking through life together.

‘I’m always so overcome with gratitude for that, because I’ve been alone for most of my life.’
