We quit our jobs and now homeschool our FIVE kids in an RV – they all sleep in bunk beds off the kitchen

A FAMILY-of-seven have revealed how they gave up their home and now live in an RV – with the kids sleeping in bunkbeds off the kitchen section.

Shaun and Renee Tilby uploaded a video of their unusual living space, with kids Audrey, Mason, Levi, Lincoln and Jesse bunking up together.

On their website, FlippinTilbys, Renee said: “We are an RV renovating, homeschooling, living outside the box family of 7.

“In 2018 we sold our 2600 sq ft home on 5 acres, quit a government job, consolidated our belongings, and moved to California in our 44ft toy hauler.

“We spent the next two years exploring from a basecamp on a family members property, helping them build a house, flipping a house and trailers, and renovating our first trailer.

“We love living life and making money on our own terms, spending as much time together as possible, turning camp trailers into beautiful spaces for people to enjoy, and exploring as much of this incredible earth as we can.”

In a video tour, Renee showed how the family installed double bunk beds in a section off the kitchen, with youngest kid Jesse sleeping on the sofa.

Their couch transforms into a handy bed at night, with the sheets stored underneath.

Renee replied to people who said the family lives in tight quarters and said: “Our home may be small but our backyard is massive.”

She then panned to the vast national park outside of their RV door.

Renee said she homeschools her five kids and they centre a lot of their learning based on where they are currently travelling to.

She added: “Most of our living is done outside, they love hanging hammocks for quiet time or they can always use our room if they want.”

They have been living in their RV for around three years, and usually spend anywhere from four days to three weeks in a campsite before moving on.
