Many Adele fans have been left disappointed after pre-sale tickets for her shows at BST Hyde Park sold out within an hour.

There appeared to be up to 100,000 people in the virtual queue, with some paying £400 for tickets.

BST Hyde Park confirmed: ‘Presale tickets for Adele at BST Hyde Park have now sold out.

‘The next opportunity to purchase tickets is at 10am Friday 29 October with the American Express Cardmembers presale. The general on sale begins at 10am, Saturday 30 October.’

Adele, who recently released her first song in six years, is set to play two shows at the London festival in 2022.

One disappointed fan wrote: ‘In an online queue for 47 minutes for @Adele presale tickets. Get to the purchasing page, to find they’re sold out Absolutely no point trying when they’re in general sale #disappointed.’

Sat in a queue of over 100,000 people for @Adele presale tickets. Been in the queue since 10am and I’m at 39275 but being told they are sold out from friends.

Looked and people are already selling them for 4x the face value. Absolutely raging. It just should not be allowed!

Ahead of the release of her album 30, Adele has already smashed records with her new hit Easy On Me.

A week after its release, her tune had been streamed a record-breaking 24 million times as she lands her latest number one, the Official Charts Company announced.

Adele smashed the previous record for the number of streams in a week, which was previously held by Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings, which was streamed 16.9 million times in January 2019.

Adele’s new release also recorded 217,300 chart sales, the highest total since Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You came out in January 2017.
