Fans Deliver Harsh Verdict on Bubba Wallace’s Infamous Chin Strap Beard
Recently, NASCAR posted a throwback to the Bowman Gray stadium. This featured a few NASCAR drivers who had raced at the iconic venue. The throwback came in light of a recent Next Gen test at the short track speedway ahead of its 2022 debut. Apparently, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Alex Bowman, Bubba Wallace, Matt DiBenedetto, and Corey LaJoie all raced there.
Wallace shared a picture of himself at the track, sporting a ‘chin strap’ beard. In an Instagram story, he asked fans whether he should bring it back. However, most of the fans were not overly fond of the weird beard. To be honest, it did look a little odd on him.

On a more serious note, the 23XI Racing driver will be looking ahead to the final two races of the season. He is already on a high after winning his home race at the Talladega Superspeedway. From there, his career can only continue on an upward trajectory.
What to expect from Bubba Wallace in the future?
For now, all that he can do is hope to put in decent performances at Martinsville and Phoenix. Then, he and his new teammate Kurt Busch can prepare for the 2022 season. This will be their first foray in the Next Gen car in a racing capacity. Busch is hugely experienced, and Bubba Wallace is a rising talent. With this Talladega win, he has proven that he is capable of winning races and can challenge at the front.

In addition to that, the win will also be a massive confidence boost for the 23XI Racing team itself. With that win, it attracts more and more attention from sponsors, and more revenue equals more in-car development. When Kurt Busch eventually joins the outfit in 2022, his inputs can be translated onto the car and help them move up the order.
In its debut season, 23XI Racing and Bubba Wallace have been impressive, and the Talladega win is proof. In future seasons, there could be a chance that the outfit can be a threat for the Playoffs.
