Inside savage Dancing On Ice feud between Brendan Cole and Ben Foden that’s kicked off before the show has even started

DANCING on Ice’s Ben Foden has sparked a feud with Brendan Cole – before the show has even started!

The rugby star, 25, and the ex-Strictly pro, 47, got off on the wrong foot when Ben accused Brendan of ‘snubbing’ their DOI Whatsapp group for the celebs.

Ben and Brendan have clashed even before cameras started rolling on the new series of DOI.

The duo will form part of the glitzy line-up of 14th series of the ITV show alongside Liberty Poole and Corrie’s Sally Dynevor.

A source told The Sun: “We haven’t really spoken much, but Ben popped the chat off with some banter straight away.

“He said: ‘Now we know who is too big time to give us your number, Brendan.’”

The insider explained: “Ben messaged everyone privately on Instagram and said ‘if you want to join a chat, send me your number.’

“So whoever hasn’t joined obviously hasn’t given their number. So Ben called him out I think.”

Dancing on Ice did not comment on the ‘feud.’

Both Brendan and Ben’s reps have been contacted regarding their banter.

Brendan is no stranger to showbiz clashes.

The New Zealander has had a long running feud with former Strictly nemesis Craig Revel Horwood.

He told Loose Women that the pair have began to bury the hatchet.

He said: “I went to his house maybe a year-and-a-half ago for lunch.

“We always got on well. He likes to push the fact that we don’t like each other, [but] I’m not going to say that because I love him.”

Meanwhile Brendan has admitted he’s got a “massive advantage” over rivals with his Strictly dance skills.

The star, who was a pro dancer on the BBC One show from 2004 to 2018, thinks that his dancing background will help him win the competition.

Brendan confessed on earlier today: “Yes I have an advantage, I’ll hopefully pick up choreography quite easily.

“There’ll be certain things I won’t have to think about working on in the week, because hopefully they will be naturally there…

“But I like to think as I did with Strictly, you start in a certain place and it’s not where you finish, it’s about where you start and your progression.”
