Jada Pinkett Smith has clarified her comments about her sex life with husband Will Smith and promises there’s ‘never’ been a problem.

The former Gotham actress sat down with Gwyneth Paltrow in the latest episode of her Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk to honestly discuss their sex lives.

Iron Man actress Gwyneth has been married to TV producer Brad Falchuck since 2018, while Jada and Will have been married for 24 years.

During the chat, Jada admitted keeping their sex life spicy was ‘hard’ and explained the challenges in being able to always know what your partner wants in the bedroom.

After social media began suggesting the Smiths were having problems in their sex life, Jada took to Twitter to set the record straight.

The 49-year-old wrote: ‘Only because I got time today. Stop making up headlines.

‘Watch the @RedTableTalk I did with @GwynethPaltrow for yourselves. Will and I have NEVER had an issue in the bedroom. Thank you.’

Speaking to Gwyneth during the new RTT episode, Jada said: ‘It’s hard. The thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey. We started in this at a very young age, you know, 22 years old.

‘That’s why the accountability part really hit for me because I think you expect your partner to know [what you need], especially when it comes to sex.’

She continued: ‘It’s like, “Well, if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind”. That’s a huge pitfall.’

Gwyneth chimed in: ‘Isn’t it weird, though? It’s like someone doesn’t read your mind and we feel crushed.’

Jada agreed, reiterating ‘crushed’ before adding: ‘Tell me what you want, and on top of it, I know that I have to be accountable to do the same… I really try.

‘It’s uncomfortable, but it’s deeply healthy, and I think around sex, because it’s something that we don’t talk about and there’s so much fantasy around it.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Jada noted how Gwyneth has been having ‘some of the best sex these days’, to which the actress confessed: ‘But I’m a newlywed so it’s cheating, you know, maybe a little bit.’

It comes after Men In Black actor Will recently admitted he and Jada were in an open marriage after years of rumours.

The 53-year-old recently opened up about the relationship to British GQ and explained that the pair haven’t always had a ‘conventional marriage’.
