Ryan Reynolds was told off by an ITV reporter today as he casually dropped a F-bomb live on air during the Thursday afternoon Wrexham FC press conference.

Ryan has joined forced with It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney to become the unlikely owners of the football club, and watched their first match this week.

And during their stay, the two Hollywood giants gave their first ever press conference when the Free Guy actor made a clanger.

‘We just want to set up the structure for the club to continue long after we’re dead,’ Rob told reporters, because that is a perfectly normal response.

Ryan, however, followed with this.

‘Unless there’s a meteor, then we’re all f**ked.’

Brill.

A reporter was then forced to jump in and let the guys know: ‘This is actually being live streamed on ITV. Apologies for the language there!’

Understandably panicked, Ryan yelped: ‘No, I had no idea, I’m so sorry.’

Wrexham fans were delighted to see Rob and Ryan in the stands this week, cheering the Welsh team on at Maidenhead’s York Road Stadium.

Sadly, they didn’t prove to be the good luck charm everyone hoped they would be and their team was beaten 3-2.

Ryan later described football as ‘soul-deadening, evil and gorgeous game’ which sums it up perfectly.

Their journey has been captured in the upcoming docuseries Welcome to Wrexham that will premiere on Disney Plus in 2022.
