Emergency Google Chrome warning over hack right NOW – fix it here in seconds
GOOGLE has released an emergency Chrome update to fix issues that are being actively exploited.
The update is for Windows, Mac, and Linux users and will fix two ‘zero-day’ problems.
Update Chrome now to avoid hackers exploiting security issues
A zero-day exploit is a security flaw that a hacker is known to be actively exploiting before a company has been able to issue a fix.
You should update to Chrome 95.0.4638.69 to avoid falling prey to these hackers.
Google has revealed a list of security fixes that come with the update.
It said: “Google is aware that exploits for CVE-2021-38000 and CVE-2021-38003 exist in the wild.
“We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever reaching the stable channel.”

Despite naming the zero-day issues CVE-2021-38000 and CVE-2021-38003, Google has revealed little else about them.
Tech companies don’t like to say too much about security flaws before users have had a chance to update.
Otherwise, hackers could use the information to take advantage of the flaws.
We do know that CVE-2021-38000 has been described as “Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Intents” and was given a “High” severity rating.
Issue CVE-2021-38003 was described as an “Inappropriate implementation” bug in Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine.
It also has a “High” severity rating.
Five other vulnerabilities are fixed by the update but they are not referred to as zero-days because they’re not thought to have been actively exploited yet.
Chrome and Chrome OS can update automatically if a patch for a security issue is released.
However, if you want to double check you’ve updated or do it manually then you can follow the steps below.
How to update Google Chrome
On your computer, open the Google Chrome browser and click the More icon (three vertical dots) in the top right.
Click Update Google Chrome, or if that option isn’t there, it means you’re already using the latest version.
Once you’ve updated, click Relaunch.
The More icon will be coloured (1) green if an update has been available for two days, (2) orange if an update has been available for four days, or (3) red if an update has been available for seven days.
