Strictly Come Dancing 2021 star Tilly Ramsay has reportedly put the rumours of romance with Nikita Kuzmin to bed after forming a friendship with his girlfriend.

The dancers have been one of the most impressive pairs on this year’s Strictly, and speculation has been rife about the show’s curse striking between the pair.

However, the 19-year-old, who is the daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay, is said to have hit it off with Nikita’s partner Nicole Wirt.

An insider told The Sun: ‘When Nicole came to London she immediately visited Nikita and Tilly. They got on like a house on fire.

‘There is a huge amount of trust needed when one of you is spending hours in the arms of another woman.’

They added: ‘Nikita and Nicole have that trust — they’ve been together for five years.’

Tilly previously denied any talk of romance with Nikita, saying that the pair are just good friends after rumours circulated online.

The social media star has dated Londoner Seth Mack since 2019, and things aren’t changing any time soon.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Tilly previously said about Nikita: ‘We’re just having fun. I think people are just obsessed with the curse but don’t seem to realise we can be just good friends. And that’s all we are. People seem to forget that. I said from the start that I am here to learn to dance and that’s it.’

Meanwhile, LBC’s Steve Allen has been hit with more than 800 Ofcom complaints after calling Tilly ‘chubby’ on air.

Ofcom has registered 840 complaints about Steve’s show, which aired on October 18.

In her response to Steve’s comments, which was widely praised, Tilly told Steve to ‘feel free to voice your opinions however I draw the line at commenting on my appearance’.

‘It’s such a shame that someone is trying to make such a positive experience negative. This isn’t the first and definitely won’t be the last comment made about my appearance and I accept that and I’m learning to accept myself.

‘But please remember that words can hurt and at the end of the day I am only 19,’ she added.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
