Teen Mom Amber Portwood shares drawing with daughter Leah after the preteen refused to respond to star’s apology

TEEN Mom Amber Portwood shared a charcoal black and white drawing after her estranged daughter Leah, 12, refused to respond to her mother’s tear filled apology.

Fans have watched the strained relationship on MTV for years and now Leah does not speak to her mother at all.

Leah kept her silence even after her mother re-shared a sweet illustration of the two of them on her Instagram stories.

The drawing is a charcoal black and white portrait.

Both of their features are slightly exaggerated, but the detail and accuracy is quite masterful.

In the drawing, Amber is wearing glasses and holding Leah in her arms.

The mom is winking, facing forward, and giving her smiling daughter a kiss on the cheek.

Leah is wearing a t-shirt and is illustrated smiling in her mother’s arms.

The illustration is nearly a carbon-copy of a photo of Amber and her daughter celebrating Leah’s 11th birthday.

A MOTHER’S NIGHTMARE

At the beginning of October on an episode of Teen Mom OG, the mother of two made an apology to say sorry for all of her mistakes in the past.

In a clip, Amber, who admitted she hadn’t seen her daughter in months, revealed Leah watched the video but didn’t want to send a reply.

Amber narrated the clip: “After months of not talking, Gary and I have started communicating via text, but I still want to speak to Leah and Kristina.”

She then told a producer that she’s “doing pretty f**king good” with her schooling but not too well when it comes to her daughter with ex Gary Shirley.

Getting emotional, the Teen Mom admitted: “I don’t know what to do anymore, I’m still trying, but it’s very unwelcoming, is all I can say. 

“I sent a video apology, but I didn’t get a response. 

“I got something from Gary that day saying that they watched it.”

With the apology, Amber hoped “they would see the raw emotion of a human being that is pouring their heart out.” 

‘SHE’S LOSING TIME WITH HER MOM’

She continued: “I just want my relationship with my daughter. She is losing time with her mom, and she’s not wanting time with her mom.”

Back over at Gary’s house, he discussed the whole situation to his wife, Kristina, and shared that he let Amber know that Leah had watched her video but “didn’t want to respond.”

He said it seemed like for Leah there were just too many things for her mom to apologize for and it wasn’t easy for her to just forget it all.

Gary said, though, that for him, “it’s a start,” while Kristina added: “I’ve forgiven her for the things that she has said, and there just comes a time when we move forward.”

In a recent episode, Leah was seen watching the video and said to her dad that she wasn’t ready to accept Amber’s apology after the Teen Mom OG star slammed her stepmother Kristina.

While Gary and Kristina explained that Amber’s mistakes shouldn’t define their relationship, the 12-year-old insisted: “I can’t love somebody who tries to hurt other people.”

SHOCKING DRUG CLAIMS

In an exclusive with The Sun released earlier this week, Andrew Glennon alleged Amber abused meth and used other drugs while pregnant with their son.

Amber and Andrew, 37, have been in a nasty custody war over their son James, three, since their split in 2019.

The Sun exclusively revealed Andrew is demanding that Amber take a hair follicle test after he allegedly witnessed her displaying “paranoid” behavior during a recent custody exchange. 

Andrew claimed in the custody court papers that Amber has a “history of substance abuse, even while pregnant with and subsequently caring for the minor child herein,” a claim the star denied in her response. 

He continued to allege that at a parenting exchange on October 16, Amber was “acting erratically, speaking frantically, and appeared completely paranoid and disheveled.”

The court papers continued to allege: “[Amber] went so far as to allege that two nearby vehicles were ‘staking her out’ and waved down Petitioner/Father as he was leaving with the minor child to ask him to tell the individuals in the nearby vehicles to ‘stop’ staking her out.”

Andrew then claimed he has “witnessed Amber under the influence of illegal drugs previously, specifically methamphetamine,” which is the formal name for meth.

He said her behavior on October 16 was “substantially similar to that which he has previously witnessed.”

The court papers continued to claim: “Furthermore, Respondent/Mother recently posted a video on Instagram in which her pupils were very dilated to the point that public commenters were noticing.”

He is demanding that Amber “immediately submit to a hair follicle drug screen.”

AMBER’S NEW MAN?

Earlier this month, Amber was spotted leaving the airport with a mystery man after landing in LA for the Teen Mom OG reunion.

The MTV star recently came out as bisexual and slammed rumors that she used the announcement as a “storyline” for the show.

Amber was seen arriving in Los Angeles with an unidentified man as they two were snapped while leaving the airport.

The reality star wore a brown long-sleeved dress, brown boots, and a denim jacket wrapped around her waist as she navigated to her destination.

Her male companion was dressed in a white tee-shirt with Miles Davis on the front, black pants, and red sneakers.

Amber and her mystery man left the LAX airport and were seen rounding the corner to cross the street in broad daylight.

A source later revealed to The Sun that her companion was an MTV crew member.
