Tom Brady Trolls Teammate Mike Evans: ‘Might Accidentally Not Throw You Another Touchdown Pass All Season’

Their camp looks like a delightful place, especially with Brady being in a delightful mood. This week, Brady took shots at wide receiver Mike Evans, who tossed his 600th touchdown pass football into the crowd.

Facing Chicago Bears wasn’t a big deal for Tom Brady, but he still had a lot on the line. In typical TB12 fashion, Brady threw four touchdown passes in the first half. He effectively killed the game from the onset, and the Bears had no room to make plays. Restricted to only 3, the Bears looked like cubs ahead of the mighty Buccaneers.
In the 38-3 win, Brady threw his 600th touchdown pass, caught and converted by Mike Evans. Instead of saving the coveted ball, Evans tossed it into the crowd and a fan received it. That fan, Byron Kennedy, had to surrender the ball to the Bucs quarterback because of its value. Estimated to be over $500,000, Kennedy received gifts valued at $63,000 in return.

But for Brady, retrieving the ball was the sole purpose after the game. He even took shots at Mike Evans on his podcast, when the wide receiver admitted his mistake. Evans said, “I accidentally gave it away. I didn’t know.” Brady had a hilarious response to this, saying, “Well, I might accidentally not throw you another touchdown pass all season.”

Of course, Tom Brady cannot go an entire game without throwing the ball to Mike Evans. The wide receiver has been an integral part of the team this season, especially since Rob Gronkowski went down with an injury in week three.
