Adele fans gutted as BST Hyde Park concert tickets sell out in minutes

Adele is set to play two shows in London’s Hyde Park next summer but sadly many die-hard fans won’t get chance to be there after missing out on tickets.
General sale passes for the concerts – Adele’s first since announcing her new album 30 – went on sale this morning at 10am.
But with everyone desperate to get a glimpse of the superstar, you can imagine the chaos.
Fans sat in virtual queues of thousands on Ticketmaster and AXS, with tickets for the July shows quickly sold out.
Some flocked to Twitter to express their disappointment and fury, claiming there were no options available just one minute after the sale began.
‘Fuming! Just waited in a queue for tickets to Adele in Hyde park next year and get to my turn and it’s sold out!! Not happy,’ one fan vented.
Another wrote: ‘Really disappointed to not receive any tickets for Hyde Park . My daughter and I had tickets for the cancelled Wembley concert 4 years ago and were promised priority for The next concert dates. This is really disappointing.’
Others called the online queuing system a ‘nightmare’ and said trying for tickets was ‘impossible.’
‘Right did anyone actually get Adele tickets because that felt like an extreme sport in itself,’ a Twitter user asked.
Gutted fans are now begging the Easy On Me singer to announce a world tour.
For many, this was their second shot at trying to score tickets for the 2022 shows, after the pre-sale on Thursday was ‘a shambles.’
Ticketmaster and AXS have now confirmed the Skyfall hitmaker’s shows have sold out.
Organisers have reminded people to not make purchases from third party sites, as resold tickets are invalid.
Adele will take to the stage in Hyde Park on June 1st and 2nd next year as part of BST’s Hyde Park Festival.
But she isn’t the only big name on the line-up, as Elton John, Duran Duran, Pearl Jam and Eagles will also be performing.

Adele recently dropped her first single in six years, with Easy On Me breaking records to score the most streams in a week.
A week after release, the power ballad had been streamed 24million times – a record previously held by Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings.

The song unsurprisingly hit number one in the charts as well.
Now we can only hope that Adele has a list of tour dates booked in so we can live our best lives, singing Someone Like You (very badly) at the top of our lungs.
