“I Was Angry”- AEW Superstar Jon Moxley Exposes the Dark Side of Vince McMahon and WWE

Jon Moxley is now one of the top stars on AEW’s roster. But, we all remember him as The Lunatic Fringe ‘Dean Ambrose’ during his time in WWE. Not only did he bag multiple championships, but he also earned a place in the heart of the WWE universe with his crazy personality.

But like many other former WWE superstars who made the switch to AEW, Moxley also doesn’t hold back while expressing his honest thoughts on WWE and Vince McMahon. Recently, Wrestling News posted a picture of a page from Moxley’s autobiography, MOX.

On that page, Moxley gave the readers a breakdown of his last few months in WWE. They officially set the book to be released on November 2nd, 2021.

Jon Moxley reveals his thoughts on the last few months of his WWE career

Jon Moxley revealed his thought on WWE and Vince McMahon’s ideas in his book. In his book, Moxley claimed he felt lost in the ring in front of ‘confused and apathetic audiences’. He even compared his last few months in WWE to a living hell.

The former WWE superstar claimed he was angry rather than depressed. According to him, Vince McMahon’s ideas for his character were “stupid”. Moxley was also unhappy because of the lack of good promos. In his book, Moxley claimed there was not a good angle or promo for him, and they left him frustrated with this situation.

Further, Moxley revealed he used to tell his wife that he would leave WWE in a matter of months from that time. Jon Moxley left WWE on April 30, 2019, after his contract expired. But Moxley enjoyed it again following his debut in AEW.

Soon after, a list of former WWE superstars followed Jon Moxley in AEW. That list even includes some big names like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. With AEW’s recent rise in popularity and with some universal stars in their roster right now, it will be interesting to see whether Tony Khan can finally put an end to WWE’s monopoly in the wrestling world.
