“Mike Was Tryna Kill Him”: Supermodel Narrates Scary Bar Fight Involving Mike Tyson

‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ is not a moniker people give for no reason. Well, Mike Tyson is the embodiment of this moniker. Whether it be inside the ring, or outside of it, Mike Tyson was not the kind of person to mess with. Although outside the ring, Tyson is one of the kindest people, you don’t want to get on his bad side.

Supermodel Tyson Beckford recalls an incident involving himself and ‘Iron’ Mike when they were out partying in New York City. Beckford and Mike Tyson were having a good time at the bar. They were having a couple of drinks, talking about things, when suddenly a certain Max Pierre came up to them and poked the tiger.

“I see Mike ball up his fist and Mike just throws the punch from right past my shoulder. I don’t know if you’ve been shot at before, I’ve been shot at before, and it’s a scary feeling. So there’s a thing that a bullet does when it goes past you, there’s like a heat. Like you ever seen the movies and the blur?”

“That’s what went by my shoulder when Mike Tyson connected to Max Pierre chest. He punched Max in the chest and I know you remember this Max. Yo Max whole chest cavity caved in and he went back like this and he shot past people.”

Beckford then revealed he tried to stop Tyson by putting himself in the way.

“And the next thing you know, Mike was tryna kill him, you know, coz we were having this great intellectual conversation, and here comes this hater.”

Max Pierre certainly learned his lesson that day, don’t mess with ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet.’

Mike Tyson explains his infamous street fight with Mitch Green

Mike Tyson fought Mitch Green at Madison Square Garden in 1986, securing a unanimous decision victory. However, their rivalry escalated into a street fight two years later. Tyson and Green met at a bar and started talking trash to each other. The verbal altercation escalated to a full-on street fight.

Tyson made quick work of Mitch Green, knocking him out a couple of times, inside the bar and on the street. Tyson fled from the scene, fearing he nearly killed Green.

“I thought I killed him [and] I was so scared. I was so happy the next day in the ‘papers they showed his eye [injury] because I knew he wasn’t dead then.” Tyson said on his podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.
