My daughter suffered horrific burns from a common sweet she sneaked off her big brother, she was screaming in pain
A MUM warned parents against letting their kids have extreme sour sweets after her little girl suffered burns after pinching one off her big brother.
The unnamed mum shared her story via an Instagram page aimed at parents.

She told how her little girl got into her big brother’s sour lollies and gave them a suck, burning her tongue because the sweets were so acidic..
“She come to me screaming my tongue is sore,” she said. “They had burnt her tongue, she was beside herself.
“We spoke to a dr and got advise [sic] what to do.
“She is ok, thankfully, but I as so worried when I had seen what they had done to her.
“It was super scary.”
Other people thanked her for sharing, with one saying: “Sour lollies are acidic and can cause terrible burns to little ones. Introduce after five and with caution!”
