The honeymoon period lasted a matter of months, but due to Covid and lockdowns we weren’t able to see one another for weeks.
I’m 25 and he’s 29. He didn’t make any effort to keep in touch, but I tried not to read too much into it.
During this time I found out he had been sleeping around when we first started dating – now almost two years ago.
It shocked me, even though he was technically single.
He became defensive and snappy when I confronted him, comparing me to his ex.
He also didn’t tell me he loved me. Instead, he said he didn’t love me “yet”.
I was shattered hearing those words and we broke up soon afterwards.
