NBA Veteran Jamal Crawford Shuts Up LeBron James, Stephen Curry With Massive Michael Jordan Claim

Jamal Crawford is one of the luckiest players in the NBA’s history. Since he got to play against Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James who are arguably the members of a ‘Mount Rushmore of NBA Basketball’.

Yet, Crawford feels that comparing Michael Jordan to anybody is disrespectful to him. Simply because anyone we compare him to has flaws, implying Jordan simply doesn’t. And well, Crawford is right. The ball-handling magician from the Clippers played the first few years in his career against Michael Jordan. At first in pick-up games then when Jordan returned to the NBA with the Wizards.

According to Landon Buford, Jamal Crawford said this about Michael Jordan when he hosted his Twitter Space tonight.

Comparing anyone to MJ is disrespectful, says @JCrossover.

Crawford on the disrespect of Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate

The discussion of who is the greatest player of all time is an evergreen discourse in the NBA community. And the most common name in that discussion is Michael Jordan’s. Since Jordan is arguably responsible for putting NBA on the global map, his accomplishments can’t go unappreciated in that debate.

Crawford feels that Jordan’s game was flawless and comparing him to anybody is moot. So no matter what the greats do, Crawford has a fixed response for who is the greatest of them all.

This is clearly a biased opinion since Crawford looked at Jordan as a mentor and had a personal relationship with him. Since Crawford played a lot of pickup games with Jordan in his rookie season, he knows Jordan personally. Moreover, he credits Jordan for helping him gain confidence on the floor. Therefore, this is his own opinion on the debate.

Nevertheless, is Jamal right? Did Michael Jordan have no flaws in his game?

Did Jordan have any flaws on the basketball court?

While Michael Jordan dominated the league in the 90s, when his competition was the highest in the 80s, he always failed. It took an injury-ridden season for the Bad Boy Pistons and HIV for Magic Johnson to unleash Michael Jordan’s era.

Nevertheless, Jordan did not have any flaws on either the defensive or the offensive end of the court. It is upon becoming too critical that one could say Jordan did not shoot and convert as many threes. However, his scoring output was more often than not enough to get his team the victory and get him ten scoring titles in the league.
