Defending champions Milwaukee Bucks have had a shaky start to their NBA campaign. The Bucks have won three out of seven games this season so far and are winless in the last three games. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the scoring charts for the Bucks in their last game against the Jazz. However, Donovan Mitchell’s 28 points downed the Bucks at Fiserv Forum.

Milwaukee Bucks‘ title defense isn’t going as planned as they’re hit with several injuries. Their star guard Donte DiVincenzo is still out due to an ankle injury on his left leg. Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez are the other players who will sit out the next game due to injuries.

If it wasn’t already enough for the Bucks, Khris Middleton is set to miss the next game as well. Middleton also missed the previous game against the Jazz due to illness. Now, Middleton has entered NBA’s health and safety protocols.

Khris Middleton latest to enter NBA’s health and safety protocols, pressure on Giannis Antetokounmpo

NBA correspondent Marc Stein recently took to Twitter regarding the Khris Middleton situation. Stein revealed that the star forward has become the latest player to enter NBA’s health and safety protocols. He joins Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris, who landed in the health and safety protocols yesterday.

Khris Middleton has been an important member of the Bucks squad over the years and played a pivotal role in winning the championship last season. Middleton has already missed the game against Utah Jazz and will now miss the next game as well. It will be a big blow to the Bucks, who are already suffering from an injury crisis this season.



Jrue Holiday is out for Tuesday’s game due to a left ankle sprain. He joins Brook Lopez, who will also miss the next game due to back soreness. Antetokounmpo is now the lone elite creator in the team and would need others to step up if they want to end their 3-game winless streak. The Bucks would now need Bobby Portis and Semi Ojeleye to step up in the absence of their star players against the Pistons. The Bucks face Detroit Pistons, who have won just once in six games, at Little Caesars Arena.
