I send messages to my husband on his morning toast when I’m annoyed…people say I’m pathetic but it works for me
A MUM shared her cheeky tactic for letting her husband know when she’s upset with him… by drawing a sad face onto his toast.
The TikToker and parenting influencer Food Platter Mum used her finger, or a blunt tool, to mark the slice of bread with an image.

She then popped it in the toaster and the dented markings didn’t toast as much as the rest of the bread leaving a face on the slice.
She uploaded the short clip with the caption: “How I let my husband know when I’m grumpy.”
But this wasn’t the only toast art the social media influencer made, she also did an angry slice, a “love you” slice and one that said “bite me” for her critics.
TikTokers couldn’t get enough of the clever trick and the video has racked up more than 8.8million views.
