Holly Willoughby took to the stage to celebrate the launch of her new book Reflections tonight, and she had a familiar face in the crowd as her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield was there to support her.

The event took place on Tuesday evening at London’s Barbican Theatre and saw Holly on stage in conversation with Loose Women’s Christine Lampard.

Holly wore a light purple patterned tight midi dress with poofy sleeves, a white collar, black ribbon and black buttons on the front.

Meanwhile, Phillip was photographed attending the event with a female guest.

Also sitting in the crowd of what looked like a full house were her friends, music talent manager Shiarra Bell and All Saints singer Nicole Appleton.

Before the night kicked off, Holly posted a picture of herself alone on stage in front of the empty theatre.

‘Waiting for you…’ she captured the snap, which she shared with her seven million Instagram followers.

In her stories, Holly also shared a picture of a lovely bouquet of flowers that her friends sent her backstage with a note reading: ‘Darling Holly we are so very proud of you and wishing you all the love and light for tonight! your girls Shiarra, Emma , Nicole and Niki xxx.’

That would be Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice and PR guru Niki de Metz.

‘I LOVE MY GIRLS…’ added Holly.

In her upcoming book, Holly is letting people in on aspects of her life she hasn’t been ready to share before.

Speaking to Gethin Jones and Alex Scott on The One Show last week, the 40-year-old presenter explained: ‘I live in the public eye, there’s a lot of me out there, probably boring most people, but there’s definitely been pieces of me that I haven’t been ready to share yet.

‘Up until now I’ve probably been terrified of the reception of being brave enough to write this all down and put myself out there over [the] fear of being judged in some way, and it actually doesn’t matter, because it had to happen and I feel good about it.’
