Has been running well in better races than this including when a close-up fourth at Haydock last time. He’s fallen nicely down the weights, likes this trip and cut in the ground suits.

COQUELICOT (2.00 Chepstow, nb)

Is fit from a spin on the Flat and goes handicapping from what could be a lenient mark. She should relish this stamina test and has more to offer.

RAASEL (3.10 Nottingham, treble)

Landed a hat-trick of wins here last time and his fourth victory in a row. A 5lb penalty won’t stop him adding to that impressive sequence.

Good second over course and distance on latest run.
